The process begins with a new start of the art lowered floor that allows wheelchair and scooters more headroom to enter and exit the vehicle. This new floor is 11' lower then the conventional floor, once in place you will have 58'' usable headroom in the fold out side entry wheelchair accessible van. Our new lowered floor on the Dodge Grand Caravan has been engineered to begin just in front of the rear axle and travel all the way to the front firewall. With the new floor in place wheelchair users will have plenty of room to position in the mid section or the front seats can be easily removed allowing for the wheelchair use to ride or drive up front.
Making the transition from the ground to the Dodge side entry's new lowered floor is a power fold out ramp. These fold out ramps can support up to 800 lbs and will stow vertical below the door window allowing for full visibility out the windows.
